There are two labels heavily bidding for the new album. We like both for different reasons, but haven't signed a deal memo--a piece of paper that locks you into a company--with either one yet. By January we'll make a decision.
The release date on the album isn't set yet, because I need another two songs for it. We've recorded 10 songs now. The new ones will be recorded as soon as I can finish them or find them. One looks like it will be a cover of a great Psychedelic Furs song.
The title of the album hasn't been chosen yet. We usually wait until the songs are all together, then pick a song or lyric snippet or overall theme that the music suggests (i.e., LOVELIFE).
Absolutely. Steve is the man to thank for any of my answers here getting to you at all (I'm a computer idiot), and he will make it happen, he says. [ed note: thanks Steve! and folx stay tuned (pun intended :-)]

Great! I will definitely give you all of them when they're booked.
Yes, it was me. I was 18 or 19, and acting at the time. I remember going to an interview with George Lucas and this new actor, Harrison Ford, sitting there. We were all on folding chairs in this empty warehouse. I remember reading lines like "R2D2, the fader's not working!" Trying to put acting skills into it. All George Lucas said was this was a new sci-fi picture. Harrison read with me. Then I came back a few more times and read with Mark Hamill. I remember seeing him in the unemployment line 6 months later! I said, "Hey, did you ever get that part in the sci-fi picture?" He said no, he never heard from them again. Well, I guess he finally did!
God, can you imagine if I had done that movie? Life would've been a lot different! Forget my singing career (imagine Carrie Fisher trying to get one going after that!). So I don't regret losing it.
Another story you might enjoy is that Berlin and I were signed to play parts in "Spinal Tap!" We met with Rob Reiner and Christopher Guest. They had a part for a band that opens for Spinal Tap on the tour. Of course, the band blows Spinal Tap away every night. Then Spinal Tap kicks them off the tour. Classic rock 'n roll stuff.
We loved the script, so we agreed to do it. Then Rob Reiner sent me new pages "expanding" my part. Now I - the lead singer - have affairs with EVERY guy in Spinal Tap! How can you tell? You keep seeing me on the lap of another one of them, and the previous one has a COLD SORE on his lip! Pretty soon ALL OF THEM have cold sores!
Okay, it's funny. But I didn't want to be the girl who gives Spinal Tap herpes. God, how disgusting! So we pulled out. Eventually Cherie Currie (from the Runaways) did the part, but then they cut it all out. Now if you look really close, you can see in one scene (I think it's the record company party scene) the whole Spinal Tap band have herpes sores on their mouths, but you don't know why. That's why.
That's enough for now. I wish for you all that all your dreams come true in '98. Or stuff you like even better. See you then!
With Love, Terri Nunn
