Berlin at Moody's in Portland, Oregon

I just saw Berlin here in Portland, Oregon on Sunday 22 September at a little club called Moody's (about 425 capacity). They were great, better than when I saw them in '83/'84 at Magic Mountain in Southern California (LA). Her voice is wonderful, and they did an obscure 1966 Standells cover ("Medication"). I couldn't have asked for anything more (except for *not* doing "Take My Breath Away", but it seemed to go over well with the crowd, and they did do it better than the record).

			

They said a new album is on its way, along with another tour, and I'm 
waiting with much anticipation...!
			

I was happy with the guitar-driven sound, but they could have played 
the synths a little louder (the mix was good for everyone else, the 
keyboardist was just kind of out of the mix...)
