Always fascinated by music, he started playing drums on pots and pans when he was 5 years old.
His Parents then got him a Drum set at a yard sale when he was 7 years old. His brother Mykel was always in to band growing up, so of course Chris would follow him around and when he saw the drumline at the high school for the first time, he then knew he wanted to play drums forever and shot to the top of his music class by the 6th grade!
Throughout his 4 years at Rio Mesa High School in Oxnard, CA Chris was active in marching band and was a Drum Major his junior year. After graduation he joined Drum Corps and traveled all over the United States performing in multiple stadiums and arenas. After his 4 years with Drum Corps Chris started to get into recording music in his home studio producing artists and creating original remixes.
His musical performance and skill level is extremely eclectic and ranges from disco to metal. Chris has been in many Bands through the years such as the hard hitting female fronted heavy metal band Crisis, Professional Murder Music, world renound 80s and disco cover bands The Spazmatics and The Boogie Knights taking him to perform in places such as Cologne, Germany. Chris' cover band career has culminated 7 years ago in the formation of his own cover band: The MiniDriver Band, which covers all music from the 70's through todays biggest hits. He has kept himself busy over the past 15 years throughout evenings and weekends spinning the biggest and best hits all over as one of Ventura County's hottest DJs. Both himself as a DJ and his cover band are highly sought after and available for hire for weddings, clubs and private or corporate events.
Being versatile in all styles of music from R&B, Funk, Latin, Jazz, Fusion, Pop and Rock he used that to do Studio sessions for different artists in the L.A area and also began to teach the youth of America by giving private lessons.
