Message from Terri: It's The Way
It's so amazing to me the response to "It's The Way," especially when we connected with producer Bryan Todd at the 11th hour and we put it together in just a couple of days!
My favorite lyrics in "It's The Way" are the lines "I don't know if you're forever, if you'll hold me through the good and bad". That's the crux of the song to me. It's about my fear of connecting with people, specifically men in this song. I guess because my dad committed suicide when I was very young, I've always had trouble trusting that men who said they loved me would stick around, hang in there with me.
